Abstract: The project analyzes the regulatory and governance implications of cryptocurrencies, blockchain-based systems, and distributed ledger technologies. The research seeks to develop guidance for regulators around the world to address these new systems effectively, and to identify frameworks or best practices for blockchain-based organizations to address legal and governance challenges.
