Wharton Technology and Innovation Conference

The Mack Institute and the Wharton School’s Management Department co-sponsor the annual Wharton Technology and Innovation Conference. The two-day event, which has taken place annually for over fifteen years, brings together top researchers from Wharton and other business schools studying technology-based industries and innovation management.

At the conference, leading academics moderate discussions that address topics relevant to the institute’s research priorities, such as creating and capturing value from intellectual property, industry evolution, and innovation and entrepreneurship. Researchers chosen to present emerging work receive valuable critical feedback from their peers.

The conference is vital to forging a community of like-minded academics. Attendees network and discuss crucial research questions at the invitation-only conference reception and dinner, which often leads to new collaborative projects after the conference.
