Karl Ulrich on the “Great Value” of MOOCs

Mack Center Core Team member Karl Ulrich features in a Financial Times article on “massive open online courses” (MOOCs).

The Wharton School has so far offered six open courses via Coursera.org. “Even if we never earned a dime from Coursera, it’s great value to reach so many people,” comments Ulrich, who has taught an online innovative design course to over 5,000 students.

Ulrich’s successful engagement with MOOCs is an example of the ways in which Mack Center faculty not only study disruptive technological innovation, but also work and teach on its leading edge.
