We Are A Major Funder of Academic Work At Wharton
Each year the Mack Institute awards substantial research grants to Wharton faculty and PhD students committed to the study of innovation management. These research fellows explore crucial issues falling under the Mack Institute’s research priorities.
In total the institute has funded more than 600 research proposals in excess of $4.5 million. Our support has resulted in numerous working papers, peer-reviewed published articles, and books.
A call is sent out early each year to Wharton faculty and graduate students. Our funding cycle follows the fiscal year. If you would like to learn more about the type of work we fund, visit our Research page.
More Opportunities For Students
Wharton PhD candidates who’d like to discuss preliminary work and share ideas with cross-department peers may also be interested in joining the Mack Innovation Doctoral Association, while undergraduates interested in conducting research with us can apply for one of our student fellowships.
