Abstract: As organizations seek evidence-based approaches to enhance leadership effectiveness and employee creativity, psychedelic research presents a promising opportunity to understand perspective-changing interventions in professional contexts. The convergence of long-standing scientific interest in psychedelics, growing demand for evidence-based information on the impact of these medicines on leaders, and mounting empirical evidence of these compounds’ effects on creativity, problem-solving, and prosocial behavior creates a promising opportunity to examine their potential applications in management research. This study addresses a significant gap at the intersection of organizational behavior, innovation, and leadership development, contributing foundational knowledge to understand emerging wellness and perspective-changing practices currently being adopted by business professionals.
