The Wharton School, Philadelphia
The Mack Institute is pleased to announce our Fall 2024 conference, AI-Driven Innovation Ecosystems. Bringing together leading Wharton researchers with expert business practitioners, this one-day conference will explore how firms can overcome the risks and high costs of AI development and implementation by forging partnerships and exploring complementarities.
This conference will explore such questions as:
- What AI-driven innovation ecosystems are emerging? Which types of organizations are involved, what roles do they play, and what complementarities and interdependencies are appearing?
- Who leads and shapes these ecosystems? Are they driven by LLM vendors, cloud providers, software companies, or other key players?
- What bottlenecks—and opportunities for added value—exist, and how do they change over time? How do competition and collaboration (coopetition) evolve between leaders and contributors, and what are their strategies for capturing value?
- How should managers decide which bottlenecks to tackle, which opportunities to pursue, and whether to build or join an ecosystem? What role should they play, and how can they secure a fair share of the value created?
Our conferences are in-person and highly interactive, with opportunities for knowledge-sharing and networking. If you are interested in attending, please fill out the form below and someone from our team will be in touch.
