In addition to his work as an award-winning professor and as Mack Institute Executive Director, Saikat Chaudhuri will soon add a new title to his resume: Interim Director of the Jerome Fisher Program in Management and Technology.
Chaudhuri has taught Management of Technology to M&T students over the past five years. He is himself an alumnus of the program, from which he earned his BS and BSE in 1997. He will take its helm on July 1 when its current director Bill Hamilton retires.
The M&T Program is the oldest coordinated dual degree program at the University of Pennsylvania. It combines academics from Penn Engineering and the Wharton School into one unique educational experience. Students enrolled in the M&T Program pursue degrees from both schools concurrently, creating a truly interdisciplinary learning experience. Each academic year the program welcomes approximately 50 to 55 new students to campus, and it boasts over 1,900 alumni worldwide.
