Embodied AI and Robotics
for Business Innovation

Embodied AI—including robotics and intelligent physical systems—is transforming how organizations innovate and compete. Led by Professor Lynn Wu, this initiative advances research and industry engagement to help firms integrate these technologies and capture value from large-scale AI investments.

About this Initiative

Embodied AI operates within physical processes, equipment, and frontline workflows. As a result, firms must navigate complex implementation challenges, from redesigning operations and restructuring roles to managing long investment horizons and organizational risk. This initiative examines how these technologies reshape firm strategy, decision-making, and the nature of human–machine collaboration.

Through interdisciplinary research, industry partnerships, and executive convenings, we develop practical frameworks to guide firms deploying robotics and intelligent physical systems. Activities include conferences, practitioner-focused research, company collaborations, and case development.
