Wharton Technology & Innovation Conference (WTIC)

The Mack Institute and the Wharton School’s Management Department co-sponsor the annual Wharton Technology and Innovation Conference. The two-day event, which has taken place annually for over fifteen years, brings together top researchers from Wharton and other business schools studying technology-based industries and innovation management.

Corporate Strategy & Innovation Conference (CSIC)

Organized by Wharton professors Emilie Feldman, Claudine Gartenberg and Paul Nary, this academic conference brings together scholars and researchers exploring questions on the frontiers of corporate strategy and innovation. It typically takes place in early December.

Penn-Wharton Commercialization Workshop

The Wharton School has partnered with the Office of the Vice Provost for Research to create a unique learning experience for faculty, scientists, and clinicians interested in commercializing their work at Penn and launching a new venture. Participants learn techniques to develop their ideas for commercialization using the most successful teaching offerings on innovation and entrepreneurship around campus.

Spring & Fall Conferences for Practioners

We organize and host two intimate conferences each year, bringing together corporate leaders and top academics to discuss emerging technologies and issues in innovation management. These in-person events include a mixture of expert panels, group discussion, and networking.

Innovation Conversations

Periodically, we host virtual or in-person events that bring Wharton and Penn knowledge to the wider community. Past events have included a panel on workforce development presented jointly with the City of Philadelphia and webinars with Wharton researchers.
