Fall Conference 2017: Emerging Innovation Leadership Challenges for Global Firms

November 10, 2017

Friday, November 10 | 8:30 AM - 4:45 PM EST
Jon M. Huntsman Hall, 8th Floor

Get highlights and takeaways from this conference here.

In recent years, the Mack Institute’s conferences have explored challenges that established firms face on a regular basis: acquisition strategies, digital disruption, talent management, and business model innovation, to name a few.

This conference takes a holistic approach to these issues from a global leadership perspective: How can leaders at global firms integrate governance and strategy across disparate markets and ecosystems? What regulatory challenges do firms face when deploying new business models in both emerging and mature markets? How can leaders leverage emerging technologies for competitive advantage?

The Mack Institute’s Fall Conference 2017 features thought leadership from top academics in the field and best practices from companies who have successfully navigated these global challenges through cycles of disruption and market dominance.

Key elements will include:

  1. Global Dimensions: Integrating Leadership and Strategy
  2. Global Regulatory Implications
  3. Emerging Technology Strategies
  4. Sensing and Responding for Peripheral Vision

Finally, through an interactive workshop, participants will learn what tools are needed to sense and respond to global threats and opportunities. You’ll practice working through these management approaches, providing key insights you can take back to your own firm.
