Building an Effective Corporate Innovation Center

David Robertson, Operations, Information, and Decisions, The Wharton School

Abstract: The goal of this project is to explore how Innovation Centers can boost the innovation capability and performance of the companies they serve.  How should a company make a decision about whether to invest in an Innovation Center?  What structure works best?  How should you decide which type of Innovation Center to build?  What are the most effective processes, policies, and practices?
