New Mack Institute Course: MGMT 892

The Mack Institute is pleased to offer a new course through its Collaborative Innovation Program.

MGMT 892: Advanced Study – Organizational Effectiveness: Technological Innovation will connect the institute’s corporate partners with students to address existing challenges within the partner companies.

Course Details

  • Provides opportunity to gain hands-on experience with innovation management challenges within an established firm
  • Taught by Mack Institute Senior Fellow Charlotte Ren
  • Provides 0.5 credits for the Fall 2014 semester (6 class sessions)
  • Counts toward Strategic Management major or as an elective

How the Program Works

The institute’s corporate partners have proposed current business challenges; students selected for the program will form teams to work on addressing these challenges. Guided by Professor Ren, students may provide the following: industry analysis, competitor analysis, general environment analysis (trends and uncertainties including political, technological, global, and sociocultural segments), and assessment of the organization’s internal strengths and weaknesses. Specific analysis will depend on the questions the corporate partner organizations want to address.

We encourage MBA and WEMBA students in both Philadelphia and San Francisco to participate. Anyone interested in the program may contact us directly for more information.
